The Intellia Mini Excavator Simulation Curriculum (also known as the compact excavator, the mini digger, or the mini trackhoe) prepares operators for high-risk utility and infrastructure projects without tying up live equipment or exposing crews to risk. Designed for underground utility work, the simulation builds precision digging, grading, and material handling while navigating around existing infrastructure and utility hazards in congested urban environments. Through progressive exercises, operators build control, situational awareness, and judgment that carry over directly to real equipment.
